Desert Initative

A new branding project that I'm working on at eeko Studio is for Desert Initiative: Desert One.
Desert Initiative: Desert One (DI:D1) is a creative  collaboration that brings together more than thirty leading museums, cultural centers and organizations, universities and public agencies connecting the Chihuahuan, Sonoran, Mojave and Great Basin Deserts to present innovative interdisciplinary investigations of the desert including exhibitions, lectures and commissions.
Desert Initiative is something that will happen each year. This year being Desert One, next year Desert Two, and so on.
For the logo design, I wanted to show the connection between the four deserts, and it needed to be something that could easily be changed for each upcoming year. After some collaboration with the design team, here's the final result!

This is a sign at each venue interacting people how to register their DID1 passport and check in on an online map.

Palm Creek

One of the major projects that I'm working on at eeko studio is the marketing for Palm Creek. Palm Creek RV and golf resort is in Casa Grande, AZ and it's where retired folks go to stay for a while, live full time, and pretty much party!
I've been involved in the rebranding, website redesign and marketing materials for the company. Here are just a few of the projects I've worked on:

Logo redesign:
They wanted an updated logo with  more of a luxury feel without straying too far from their original identity. I took the original palm tree design and put it into more of a "seal" design for a cleaner, more modern look, and now they also have that as a mark that can stand alone.
Business Cards:
With the launch of their new website this year, they wanted to make that a major point of focus on all of their marketing materials, so I chose to make the website very prominent on the back side of the card.

Brochure:
This is an example of of the the printed marketing materials. This is a brochure the is handed out to new comers, informing them about everything Palm Creek has to offer.

Website redesign:
This project was a big collaboration between my creative director, web developers, and myself. With a few finishing touches to be done, the plan is for it to go live in June. The existing Palm Creek is outdated and was in desperate need of a makeover. Here is a preview of the homepage design and a secondary page.
